Effective 16 August 2026
Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Bloom, in the same plain language as everything else here.
The short version
- You send Bloom footage, it edits it and sends the result back. The footage stays yours; we just need permission to process it.
- Bloom gives you a bit free to try. After that it's a subscription through Stripe. Cancel anytime with /billing in the chat, and you keep access until the period you already paid for runs out.
- Payments are final, because the compute is spent the moment your video renders. But if Bloom itself let you down, say a video you paid for never arrived or you were charged twice, we put it right.
- Don't send Bloom anything you don't have the rights to, or use it to make deceptive or non-consensual content of someone else.
- Ask us to delete your data and we will, within 30 days.
The sections below are the binding version
Who we are
Bloom Edits is a video editor you talk to in a chat. Today that means Telegram, Discord, iMessage and WhatsApp. These terms cover the Bloom bot on any platform we run it on, and this website, and they apply to anyone who uses either.
The company behind Bloom is AiDev Limited, a company registered in Hong Kong SAR at 2301, 23/F Bayfield Building, 99 Hennessy Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong. By using Bloom, you're agreeing to these terms with AiDev Limited.
Who can use Bloom
You need to be 18 or older to use Bloom. Each chat platform sets its own minimum age for using that platform at all, and that applies on top of this. If we learn someone under 18 is using Bloom, we'll remove the account and its data.
Your account
You reach Bloom through your existing account on whichever chat app you use. There is no separate Bloom login, no password to keep, and no approval step: you message the bot and it answers. You're responsible for what happens through your account and for keeping access to it secure. If you think someone else has gotten into it, tell us.
If you add Bloom to a group, everyone in that group can talk to it, and what any of them send becomes part of the project. Only add it to groups where that's what you want.
What Bloom actually does
You send footage and say what you want. An AI agent watches the footage, reads what was said in it, plans an edit, makes it, and sends the result back to the chat. You change it by replying in words. There is no timeline to open.
Because an AI is making the decisions, the result varies. The same request run twice won't produce an identical video, and a first cut is a starting point rather than a final answer. Working with Bloom means going back and forth with it.
Your content
Whatever you send Bloom, whether footage, photos, voice notes or music, is still yours. Using Bloom doesn't transfer ownership of it to us.
To make your edit, you grant us a license to process what you send: to store it, pass it to the AI providers who do the actual editing work, and hold the result until you've received it. That license only exists to run the service. See the Privacy Policy for exactly who touches your content and for how long we keep it.
You're promising that whatever you send us, you have the rights to send: the footage, the music, anyone appearing in it. We're relying on that promise, and we don't check it before we start editing.
What you get back
The finished video is yours. Post it, sell with it, do what you like with it. We don't take a share of it and we don't claim any ownership of it.
Two honest caveats. Parts of a video that were generated by AI rather than filmed by you may not be protected by copyright in every country, which can mean you have less power to stop someone else using something similar. And stock clips, music and generated assets that Bloom pulls in carry their own licenses from whoever supplied them. Those travel with the video, and we'll tell you when one applies.
Acceptable use
Don't use Bloom for anything illegal, for content you don't have the rights to, or to create deceptive or non-consensual content of someone else, including using their likeness or voice in a way they haven't agreed to.
Specifically, and without it needing to be said: nothing sexual involving anyone under 18, no sexual content of a real person who hasn't agreed to it, no pretending to be a real person or organisation in order to deceive, and no passing off someone else's footage as your own.
Don't try to abuse, overload, or reverse-engineer the service, or use it in a way that could put its other users at risk. We can refuse to process a request, remove content, or end access for anyone who breaks these rules.
Subscriptions and payment
Bloom gives you a small amount of free use so you can see what it does. After that, receiving your finished videos requires a subscription, sold through Stripe Checkout on a recurring billing schedule. The price and period you see at checkout is what you're agreeing to. Some things are instead a one-off purchase, or paid from credit you top up in advance. We never see your card details; Stripe handles the payment directly.
How much you get before we ask you to pay, and what a plan includes, can change as we work out what's fair. Prices can change too. A change doesn't affect a subscription you're already on until it renews at the new price, and we'll have made the new price visible before that happens.
Cancellation
Use the Billing link at the top of our site, or send /billing to the bot. Either one opens your Stripe billing portal, where you can cancel, update your payment method, or see your billing history. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep access for the rest of the period you've already paid for.
Refunds
Payments are final, and it's worth saying why rather than just asserting it. When Bloom makes your video, the machines and the AI models that made it are paid for at that moment. That money is spent whether or not the result is what you hoped for, and we can't get it back. So we don't refund partial billing periods, and a one-off video that's already been delivered isn't refundable.
The exception is us. If Bloom itself let you down, email us and we'll put it right: a video you paid for that never arrived, a double charge, a charge for something we never delivered. That isn't a favour and it isn't at our discretion. It's part of the deal.
Not liking an edit as much as you hoped isn't that. Reply to Bloom and it'll keep working on it. That's what it's for.
AI output, and what we don't promise
Bloom's edits are produced by a mix of our own tools and third-party AI models, listed by category in the Privacy Policy. We don't guarantee the output will match what you had in mind, that any specific effect will be available, or that the service will always be up.
Those models belong to other companies, who change them, reprice them and retire them on their own schedule. When that happens an effect Bloom offered may change or stop being possible, and we may not get much warning either.
Bloom is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law where you live allows that.
Your data, and deleting it
What we collect, who processes it and how long we keep it is set out in the Privacy Policy. The short version: we keep your projects and chat history until you ask us not to.
You can ask us to delete everything at any time. See Data deletion for how. We'll do it within 30 days, and it can't be undone: afterwards Bloom won't remember your past edits or how you like your videos made.
Three things deletion can't reach, so you know before you ask. The messages and videos already sitting in your own chat history live on Telegram's, Discord's, Apple's or WhatsApp's servers rather than ours. Copies already sent to the AI providers who did the work are governed by their retention schedules, though we'll pass a request on where a provider supports it. And we keep billing records with your identity stripped out of them, because we have to account for money we actually received.
Ending access
You can stop using Bloom whenever you like. We can suspend or end your access for breaking section 07, for non-payment, or if we reasonably believe continuing to serve you puts the service or other users at risk. Where we can, we'll tell you why.
Changes to the service
Bloom is under active development and changes often. Features get added, reworked and sometimes withdrawn, and we don't promise any particular one will still be here later, or that the service will be available without interruption. If we're withdrawing something you're actively paying for, we'll tell you in the chat first.
Liability
To the extent the law allows it, AiDev Limitedisn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of Bloom, such as lost profits or lost data.
Where we are liable, our total liability to you for any claim is capped at whatever you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Indemnity
You're responsible for claims arising from content you send us or from using Bloom in a way that breaks these terms, and you agree to cover the reasonable costs that causes us.
Disputes and governing law
If something's gone wrong, tell us first. Email us and give us a chance to put it right before taking it further. Most problems are a lot faster to fix that way than any formal process.
These terms are governed by the law of Hong Kong SAR, and the courts of Hong Kong have jurisdiction over any dispute that doesn't get resolved directly.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. If a change materially affects your rights or what you're paying, Bloom will tell you in the chat.
