Delete your data

You can ask us to erase everything Bloom holds about you, at any time, without giving a reason. Here is how, and exactly what happens.

How to ask

  • Tell Bloom in the chat. Say you want your data deleted. It reaches us and we act on it.
  • Or email caleb@ugcbloom.team. Write from an address we can reply to, and tell us your username or handle on the platform you used, whether Telegram, Discord, iMessage or WhatsApp, so we can find the right account.

We respond within 30 days · Usually much sooner

01

What gets deleted

All of it. Not archived, and not hidden from you while we quietly keep a copy. Removed.

  • Every project you've made, and the videos, photos, audio and files held with them.
  • Your whole conversation with Bloom, on every platform you've used it from.
  • The transcripts made from your footage and your voice notes.
  • The notes Bloom keeps on how you like your videos made.
  • Anything Bloom generated for you that we still hold, and any download links still live.
  • Your account itself, so a later message starts you over as a new person.

It can't be undone. Afterwards Bloom won't remember your past edits or your preferences, and if you come back later you start from scratch as a new user.

02

What we can't reach

We would rather tell you this up front than have you assume otherwise. None of it is content we keep for our own use.

Your own chat history

The messages and videos sitting in your Telegram, Discord, iMessage or WhatsApp app are on their servers, not ours. Ours go; yours are yours to delete.

Your original uploads

We never held a copy of the file you sent, only a pointer to it on the platform you sent it from. Deleting it there is up to you.

Copies at the AI services that did the work

Making your edit means sending parts of it to other companies, and each keeps its own retention schedule. We'll pass your request on wherever a provider supports it, but we can't reach into their systems.

Payment records

We keep the record of money you actually paid us, for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Those records no longer name you in our systems.

Backups, for a while

Our encrypted database backups retain deleted data for a limited period before rolling off, after which it's gone from those too. A backup can't be edited in place.

03

Before you ask

If you have a subscription running, cancel it first. Send /billing to the bot, or use the Billing link. Deleting your account doesn't stop a Stripe subscription on its own, and we'd rather you weren't charged for something you can no longer use.

Same for unused credit: spend it or ask us about it first, since it goes with the account and we can't return it afterwards.

If you only want one project gone rather than everything, say so. We can do that instead.

04

Your other rights

Deletion is one of several things you can ask for. You can also request a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict that use. The Privacy Policy sets out all of them, along with who processes your data and how long we keep it.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled any of this, tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to a regulator: in Hong Kong that is the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data, and if you are in the UK or EEA you may complain to your own national data-protection authority.
